Katie Keddie is a singer-songwriter based in Nottingham who, with her band, creates ethereal alt-folk tracks with delicate, emotive instrumentation and relatable lyrics.

Katie first gained attention in 2022 with her debut EP Alaska Sadness, which was supported by BBC Introducing and featured on Fresh on The Net. Since then, she has become a notable presence in the UK music scene, performing at a range of venues and festivals, including two BBC Introducing live sessions.

In 2023, Katie headlined Nottingham’s The Bodega, toured with Amber Run across the UK, and opened the Courtyard Stage at Splendour Festival.

Her latest release, dead flame, debuted in 2024 and was featured on BBC Radio 6’s BBC Introducing Mixtape. This followed the release of her sophomore EP nothing much to say, produced by Noah Weinman (of ‘Runnner’), which received praise from outlets including the BBC, Alexrainbird, and Clout Magazine. The EP launch party at Rough Trade Nottingham was met with a sold out crowd, and since then she has supported the liked of Hurry for the Riff Raff and Palehound at dates across the UK, cementing her place as a part of the UK’s indie folk scene.
